Our Center for Well-Being is a brand new outpatient clinic specializing in mental health, substance use, and co-occurring interventions, professional diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and families. At Behavioral Health Services North, Inc., we take a strengths-based, patient-centered approach, endeavoring to create customized treatment plans with specific goals and objectives to meet client’s unique and individualized needs, ranging from confidential, one-on-one sessions to case management and peer mentorship.
ADULT, CHILD & FAMILY CLINIC
The BHSN Outpatient Clinic provides a full range of psychiatric services within a clinic setting to Clinton County individuals who have experienced a serious mental illness. Many recipients are referred following psychiatric hospitalization and are in need of an array of treatment and rehabilitation services to fully optimize their recovery. The Clinic is staffed by licensed mental health professionals who provide assessment and treatment services, verbal therapies, medication therapy and education, health screening and referral, case management and crisis interventions. The Clinic emphasizes medication management; brief solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapies; crisis prevention; and case management services. Clinic services are highly integrated with rehabilitation and support activities as determined by recipient’s individual service plan.
Clinic Hours of Operation:
- Monday: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
- Thursday: 8:00am – 7:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
NEW OPEN ACCESS HOURS
The BHSN Outpatient Clinic is now offering Open Access hours for new, non-established clients to BHSN and crisis services. Open Access is walk-in availability for mental health evaluation appointments. Those looking to use Open Access Hours are not required to have an appointment – you can simply walk into the outpatient clinic and be assessed. At the time of walk-in, you can expect to complete initial paperwork and an initial assessment with one of our licensed clinicians. Immediately following this initial assessment, the client will be partnered with a clinician based on their needs and preferences. A follow-up appointment with the clients partnered clinician will also be scheduled.
Open Access Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30am to 2:30pm
Open Access Crisis Services Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm.
