Who is Covered?

This benefit is available to all employees who have been a part of the BHSN team for at least one (1) year. Eligible staff receive eight (8) hours per year to dedicate to community service.

How to Use Your ESVTO:

  1. Request Approval: At least two weeks in advance, ask your supervisor for approval (just like requesting vacation time).
  2. Confirm Eligibility: Ensure your chosen organization aligns with BHSN’s core mission and flag HR if you have questions about a specific site.
  3. Render Service: Head out into the community and make an impact!
  4. Log Your Time: Record your hours on your timecard using the “ESVTO” hour type.

Note: ESVTO hours do not roll over annually and cannot be used for volunteering directly at BHSN
