Community members are invited to lace up their shoes and take a stand against domestic violence at the upcoming “5K Run/Walk for Ari,” taking place on May 10th at 12:00 PM. This meaningful event is being held in honor of those who have tragically lost their lives to domestic violence — including Ari, whose memory continues to inspire change.

Registration opens at 12:00 PM at Clinton Community College, and the Run/Walk begins at 1:00 PM.

This event serves as both a memorial and a call to action: to remember those we’ve lost and to raise awareness about domestic violence prevention through education and community support. In addition, attendees are encouraged to bring recyclable bottles and cans, which will be collected and donated to support organizations working to end domestic violence and provide critical resources to survivors.

Together, we can run toward a future free of violence and filled with hope.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just want to show support by walking, your presence matters. Families, friends, and individuals of all ages are welcome to participate in this powerful day of unity, remembrance, and advocacy.
