BHSN’s STOP Domestic Violence Program has recently been awarded $187,723 to be made available to survivors of domestic violence from the Pandemic Emergency Assistance Fund (PEAF).
The Pandemic Emergency Assistance Fund provides grants to assist certain means-tested, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) eligible domestic violence survivors (and their children) with short-term, non-recurrent expenses related to housing and essential needs.
Funds are available for eligible domestic violence survivors in New York State to assist with:
- Relocation Fees
- Utilities
- Emergency Housing
- Emergency Assistance
- Emergency Food Aid
